LOL at Owen Gibson's first article, and LOL at his follow up article. I can't fucking wait to read his reaction to the next big news out of the club.

This nonsense was WRITTEN by someone connected to the WI opps I mean Charlton Supporters Trust who seem to have a panic that some of their support might grow a pair of bollocks and fuck off to West Ham.
The idiot ashikodi can pretend all he likes that this is what his made up authorities nonsense was about but everyone knows he's simply a Walter Mitty.

Not quite ashikodi, seeing as i didn’t actually mention anything in that post about the potential for investigation by the Europeans in the deal. Remember though even this article says that it is only a potential, with the EU having already looked into the deal and concluded there wasn’t a state aid issue two years ago. The original article hinges on the fact that the LLDC didn’t go to the EU for ‘prior agreement’, which is simply a technical issue that some lawyer thinks may be something that could, perhaps, be grounds to look at the agreement again. Quite some distance from your statement that ‘the authorities have been called in’. Youre the one that’s been found out, and you keep digging yourself into a hole. Or should that be whole, my grammatically challenged son?

Hearn has been on Twitter again mentioning the 620 million of taxpayers' money and he wonders why the deal has not been made public - fair enough.
This is the man though who promised FREE season tickets to every under 16 in London and every senior citizen or member of the armed forces if Orient had been allowed to groundshare, obviously not caring how that would affect other small clubs around him or rivals in League One.
Also Orient are likely to get relegated to League 2 soon. Will be interesting to see how much rent Hearn will charge them to use Brisbane Road. I hope the rent will be fair and not constitute Hearn aid...:-)

It is on the face of it a proper shit stir, but at least the bloke admits that its not really West Ham/ LLDC’s fault that the thing was built in the first place with no credible legacy role. That’s where the blame really lies in terms of taxpayer value for money. We just provide the best of a set of fairly bad solutions to that.
As for moaning about the stadium ‘looking’ like our home, what does he expect? It is going to be our home for three or four generations. It’ll also look very different for other uses.
Clubs like Charlton and Orient can moan but we aren’t on their level, and really never have been. Its Spurs and Arsenal that should worry.

Those grapes are awfully sour. I think we know we got ourselves a good deal because all the jealousy that is now coming out. Charlton and Orient moaning that they cannot compete with us is rich, I wasn't really aware that they could compete with us now.
West Ham have often been a but of a joke and I think that could stop now and that has left a bitter taste in lot of jealous mouths.

There will be clauses in our deal for sure allowing us to book extra dates (Europa League or CL) at a fixed price if we need some extra dates.
It doesn't make any sense if we had to book Wembley or the stadium in Milton Keynes for extra dates needed and for me it is obvious that this has been taken care of.
And can anyone answer who actually would be the right person or institution to determine a fair rent for the OS under the current agreement (West Ham as anchor concessionaire, not owner) so it doesn't qualify as state aid ? 15 million a year ? 30 million ?

cholo - Given that the price table released was compared to 2014-2015 prices and not next season's you could argue we've held on to it until we needed to release.

With what we save on the new ticket prices we could do a whip round to pay Charlton and Orient "fans" to stay away.
